FAQ
Questions,
answered.
And if yours isn't here, just ask — I'd rather answer it directly than have you guess.
What is a demo reel scene?
A demo reel scene is an original script written to showcase your strengths as an actor. Rather than relying on overused material, it's designed specifically around your voice, casting type, and the kind of work you want to book.
What genres do you write?
I write both drama and comedy, with a particular love for psychologically rich, character-driven stories. Every scene is tailored to the actor, so the genre always serves the performance — not the other way around.
How long are the scenes?
Most demo reel scenes are between two and three pages, though I'm happy to adjust the length depending on your goals and the type of material you're looking for.
How many revisions are included?
Every custom scene includes one complimentary revision. If you'd like to continue refining the material, additional revisions can be arranged.
Do I own the script?
Yes. Once your project is complete and payment has been received, the script is yours to perform, film, and use in your demo reel. Clients receive full performance rights to their commissioned scene. I retain authorship of the script and kindly request writing credit whenever the work is shared publicly.
How long does the process take?
Most projects are completed within 7–10 business days. If you're working toward a deadline, rush delivery may be available.
Can you write for my casting type?
Absolutely. Every project begins with a conversation about your strengths, casting type, and the kinds of roles you're excited to play. The goal is to create material that feels unmistakably yours, rather than something any actor could have picked out of a book of monologues.
Do you offer rush orders?
Yes. If you need a scene on a tighter timeline, expedited turnaround is available for an additional fee. Feel free to get in touch, and I'll let you know what's possible.
